Balancing Big Goals With God’s Will

Balancing Big Goals With God’s Will

by Rachel Rothlisberger | Feb 8, 2023 | Prayer, Andrew Hopper, Discipleship, Uncategorized, Featured, Practical Theology

With January in the books, this is a great time to take a look at goals we’ve made for the year. If we didn’t set any goals, there is still time if that’s something you are into. If we did make some goals, February is a great time to dust them off and see where we...

Caring Well for Sent Ones During the Holidays

by nsmith | Dec 21, 2022 | Uncategorized, Missions, Andrew Hopper, Sending

When we decided to plant Mercy Hill, the door closed for moving home. I am from North Florida and sometimes am still amazed that I ever left. In high school, I wasn’t that interested in college until I had the chance to play football. Then even though I moved away, I...

Why Friendships Change in Your 30s

by Wes Nifong | Jun 25, 2022 | Uncategorized, Blog, Andrew Hopper, Marriage

Some have said our 30s is the decade that friendships go to die. I understand the sentiment. In our 30s, the scorecard of success in life often doesn’t leave room for making and deepening relationships. Plenty of people end up lonely even though they could have never...

How Do We Pray In Such Troubled Times? | Psalm 10 Prayer

by Wes Nifong | May 26, 2022 | Blog, Featured, Prayer, Andrew Hopper

How do we pray in such troubled times? Just within the last couple of weeks, we’ve seen shootings in every Triad city, racially-motivated shootings in churches and grocery stores, and the worst school shooting in a decade. These things break the heart of God and...

A Prayer For Christians – Roe v. Wade

by Wes Nifong | May 10, 2022 | Blog, Prayer, Andrew Hopper, Mercy Hill, Adoption

Christians across America are examining the thoughts surrounding the Roe v. Wade decision. Many asking questions like, “What should I pray for about Roe v. Wade?” and “What is the Christian response to Roe v. Wade?” While we certainly...
Leveraging Your Whole Life – 3 Resources

Leveraging Your Whole Life – 3 Resources

by Wes Nifong | Mar 15, 2022 | Uncategorized, Andrew Hopper, Serving

I’ve gotten a decent amount of positive feedback from this last week’s sermon already. Praise God! I think the story of Caleb from Joshua 14 strikes a chord with us because we know deep down that even though we are aging, the mission of God never gets old. Part of the...

    Groups Team Leader

Groups Team Leaders invest not only in students, but also in their teams, in order to help team members minister effectively to students each week. This includes creating a hospitable and positive small group environment, creating a culture of discussion, accountability, and prayer among the group, leading games, and intentionally connecting with students.
