Summer project is an eight-week discipleship intensive for high school students who want to learn how to best leverage their lives for the Gospel in their now and their next.

Summer Project Opportunities

Neighborhood Track

Summer Project’s Neighborhood Track is designed to grow student’s hearts for the nations while engaging their city! In this track, students will learn to make disciples who make disciples while receiving theological and leadership teaching from Mercy Hill Staff. They’ll receive evangelism training, and experience opportunities to be exposed to the nations domestically. 

Cost: $2,000
Dates: June 12th – July 31st

Nations Track

Summer Project’s Nations Track is designed to grow students’ hearts for the nations while engaging their city! In this track, students will learn to make disciples who make disciples while receiving theological and leadership teaching from Mercy Hill Staff. They’ll receive evangelism training and spend a week in an international context! 

Cost: $3,500
Dates: June 12th – July 31st

How long is the Summer Project program?

2 months Summer Project starts on June 11th and finishes at our Summer Project Celebration on August 1st. 

What does a typical week of Summer Project look like?

This will be the typical weekly schedule of Summer Project:

Tuesday (9:00 am – 3:00 pm & 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm)

– Summer Project Session (Worship & Teaching)
– D-Group Time
-Lunch
-Social Events
-Mercy Hill Staff Dinners

Thursday (9:00 am – 3:00 pm & 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm)

– Summer Project Session (Worship & Teaching)
– D-Group Time
– Lunch
– Evangelism
– Dinner
– Serve at Thursday Service

Sunday (8:45 am – 12:15 pm & 3:30 pm – 7:00 pm)

What if I’m on vacation for some of the days during Summer Project?

We understand that vacations and other commitments may come up, especially if they were planned in advance. However, to ensure you get the full experience of Summer Project—including the Kickoff Retreat, our 12 gatherings, Summer Camp, and the Go Trip—we ask that you miss no more than two weeks or a total of six days. This helps maintain consistency and engagement throughout the 8-week program.

How much does each Summer Project Track cost?

There are two opportunities for students within Summer Project:   

The Neighborhood Track which is $2,000 and the Nations Track which is $3,500. 

What does each Summer Project Track’s cost include?

Each track’s cost includes but is not limited to Summer Project gear, the cost of summer camp, the kickoff retreat, dinner/snack expenses, Go Trip expenses, and other miscellaneous costs.

When are applications due?

Applications for Summer Project are due February 23rd, 2025.
