What to Expect at the Ridge Campus

Our service kicks off with high-energy music—what we call worship—a time to praise God for His goodness and faithfulness, even when the week’s been, well, less than perfect. Then, you’ll hear an engaging biblical teaching from Pastor Andrew Hopper or someone from our teaching team. Expect relatable wisdom and maybe even a fresh perspective on life’s everyday challenges like parenting, relationships, or finding purpose. You’ll walk away challenged and encouraged and with practical ideas to apply right away.

Our services last about 75 minutes and are designed to help you encounter God, hear truth and wisdom from His Word—the Bible—and be encouraged by connecting with others who are also curious to learn more about faith and Jesus.

Your Kids Will Love It!

Love Jesus. Stay Safe. Have Fun.

At MH Kids, we partner with parents to engage and send kids out with the life changing message of the gospel. We want kids to learn that the best life lived is the life lived for Jesus!

When kids join us for our weekend services, it’s our goal for them to learn about Jesus in a fun and safe environment.

Fun for All Ages & Stages

We have fun planned for each age and stage! Bring your babies through 5th graders on the weekends for Bible lessons, worship music, activities, and games that will have them begging to come back to church!

Have older kids? Our Middle and High Schoolers meet weekly each Sunday evening.

Check Your Kids in Before Service

Our check-in process helps us keep your kids safe while you’re enjoying the service. The check-in area at the Ridge Campus is directly to the right of the Main Entrance doors. If you’re visiting us for the first time, ask a team member at the First-time Guest tent and they will gladly walk you over to the MH Kids area!

Is It Safe? Absolutely

All MH Kids staff and volunteers go through an orientation and background check process. We also have protocols in place to make sure children are safe and secure when they’re in our care, including our check-in and check-out processes. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask one of our MH Kids staff team members!

A Few More Details…

FAQs are a planner’s best friend (you know who you are)! Prepare for your visit to Mercy Hill Church with these few extra details in mind.

What should I wear?

Come as you are—whether that’s jeans and a T-shirt, business casual, or anything in between. The Mercy Hill Church community is made up of people from all walks of life, and everyone is welcome to be themselves here!

Where do I park?

Our Ridge Campus has ample onsite parking! In order for us to park everyone in a safe and fast manner, our parking team will guide you to the next available parking spot. Don’t worry, there are plenty of handicap spots, so as long as you have a handicap placard, our parking team will guide you to the right place.

The parking team will also guide you to exit by circling behind the building before turning onto Pleasant Ridge Road. View the parking traffic map to see how you can access Highway 68, I-73, and Market Street after you exit onto Pleasant Ridge Road.

Do I bring my children into service with me?

You are absolutely welcome to take your kids into service with you. We also encourage you to check out MH Kids! MH Kids offers a fun environment where children from birth through 5th grade learn about Jesus in a way they’ll enjoy, so you can focus on the service knowing they’re in good hands.

We also have rooms set aside throughout the building for nursing mothers where you can take your newborn and still watch the worship service. Our Guest Experience Team can help direct you to the nearest one!

For older kids and teens, our students’ ministry, which meets on Sunday evenings, is designed to help them connect, grow, and explore faith with friends and mentors.

Will I be singled out because I'm new?

Absolutely not! We will not ask you to stand up or raise your hand or do anything else to put you on the spot. We do have a team outside our front doors who are excited to meet you and will give you an opportunity to fill out a form to get a free gift that we offer to all our new guests!
