One thing we know to be true from Scripture is that student ministry is an incredibly strategic mission field. Every week we have the opportunity to share the gospel with some students who have never heard it before. We also have the opportunity to show some students what a life lived rooted in Jesus looks like. We are excited about the responsibility of sending students into their schools and homes rooted in their identity in Christ. This is why we want to equip you with training and resources to make an impact on the students you interact with every week. On this page, we have information about leadership in MH Students, training to help you grow in your area, a list of upcoming events, our weekly lesson plans, and information about contacting the students staff. Our desire is that this page will be your hub for all things MH Students Team, and we will continue to update it with lessons, events, coaching material for group leaders and content. As always, feel free to reach out to the students staff if we can help you in any way.

Team Leaders invest not only in students, but also in their team, in order to help their team members minister effectively to students each week. Team Leaders are over a small group in MH Students where they facilitate small group discussion, ensure team members are equipped and students are engaged. In order to grow in leadership and team unity, Team Leaders are expected to attend a monthly Team Leader Coaching Meeting led by an elder at Mercy Hill, our All Leader Gatherings, which occur three times each year, and annual Community Group Leader Retreat. All of our training materials are available on our online training platform, Ministry Grid. Click below to check out the trainings. To access the trainings for the first time, reach out to one of the MH Students Directors. In addition, our Students Team Handbook contains all of our policies and procedures for doing ministry at MH Students. It’s so important to be on the same page to best engage students with the gospel and keep them safe each weekend. For this reason, all team members are required to read through the handbook. We encourage you to go back through it from time to time in order to be familiar with it on the weekends. If you ever have a policy or procedure question, don’t hesitate to ask your Team Leader, Coordinator, or a MH Students Staff member.
