Do you remember the smell of the grass when you first played baseball or football on a team? Maybe you remember the butterflies you had before your first recital. Or maybe you are reminded by this time of year, when school starts, of your first day of school each year. Do you know the one thing these all had in common? Whether it was football, dance, or school, someone signed you up for them. You were signed up so you could develop a talent or gift or just to develop in general. But the key to getting involved is signing up.
On August 22 & 25 we launch a new sermon series called, “No More Spectators” in which we are wanting to see every believer at Mercy Hill plug in and live out Eph 2:10.
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
So, for this to happen, you need to SIGN UP! The Weekender is your big front door to all that Mercy Hill is doing. You have the opportunity to move “from connected to the crowd to committed to the family.” God has prepared good works for us, and we need to get off the sideline and get in the game. The Weekender allows us as a church to meet you and start to develop a relationship with you so that you can develop your giftings to plug-in and serve inside and or outside the walls of Mercy Hill. But make no mistake; we are called to serve. We as a church are ready to walk alongside you in that calling.
Our next Weekender is Aug 23-25 at our Edgefield Campus, and you can find out more information and signup at https://mercyhillchurch.com/weekender/ . Don’t miss your chance to walk in the giftings God has given you.
