Most every church leader will tell you the goal of ministry should be to make disciples. Jesus, the head of the church, told us so (Matthew 28:19). So when church leaders get together, they often discuss how churches can improve the way they are making disciples. For Mercy Hill, we believe discipleship happens in community. It’s not a solo pursuit. That’s why we encourage folks to jump in with us in what we are doing together as a church: Sunday gatherings, community groups, volunteer teams, community service and missions.
But sometimes people who are ready to jump in don’t exactly know where to jump. They need clarification and direction. And that’s what the Mercy Hill Weekender is geared to provide.
At a Mercy Hill Weekender you will hear more about our philosophy of ministry and core convictions. We’ll also guide you to ways you can plug in to the life of the church and grow as a follower of Jesus with us – no matter where you are starting from.
So if you are one of those that is ready to jump but want to know more about what you’re jumping into, I would encourage you to sign up for our upcoming Weekender happening this weekend.
