MH Students family,
Want to hear a crazy statement? It is August already! How does this happen every year? We anticipate the summer so much, make plans, have fun, go places, and then before we know it, it’s over and the school year is back upon us. Well, that has happened again. What a summer it has been in the MH Students family.
What God Has Done
We have had hangouts at homes all over the Triad, taken nearly 100 students to Camp Elevate, been to a baseball game together, served at Kids Week, and gone on a missions trip to Nashville—God has been on the move in these things and more. One of the other highlights of the summer has been our parent feedback meetings. As a MH Students family, we wanted to get together and hear from our parents. What has been their favorite and least favorite parts about MH Students? What are they hearing from their students about their experience with this ministry? What does a strong parent and ministry partnership look like? Many parents gave tremendously helpful feedback, and we are so thankful. Many of the ideas raised were things our ministry was beginning to think through and pray through but hearing it from different voices solidified much of what God has been up to.
The New Year Starts Here
The time has come for our new school year and our fall season of MH Students to get rolling. At our parent meeting on August 11, we will set the course for this upcoming school year. We will address much of what was raised during those feedback meetings, fellowship together as a ministry family, forecast upcoming events, pray for God to move in big ways, and begin to dream of what God could do this year in and through our students.
You’re not going to want to miss it: August 11, 2:30-3:30 PM, Edgefield Road Campus. We hope to see you there!
