• Mercy Hill Church Community Group

It is Time to Jump Into Group

As a church we believe that discipleship is word taught and life caught. Teaching God’s word is foundational for us at Mercy Hill and there are a few different ways that we do that, whether it be through the sermon each week or at our Equip Seminars. However, on the other side of discipleship is the need for believers to be in community with each other. At Mercy Hill this happens through community groups. Grouplink launched at the beginning of August so now is the perfect time to get connected to a group. You can check out all of our groups on our Grouplink page here. Also, below are a few groups that have availability.

They have a four-year-old son and one-year-old daughter. The Chappell’s love cooking meals together and spending time outside. They are passionate about living in Gospel community with others and are so excited to see who God brings to this group and what He will do in and through it as the group grows together in Christ.

Meets on: Tuesdays at 7 PM

Location: New Garden/Bryan Blvd

Group Demographic: Multigenerational

Bio: We (David and Emily Phillips) live in northwest Greensboro with our two delightful daughters—currently six years-old and fifteen months-old. We began attending Mercy Hill in April, 2015. Over the next two years, in succession, we joined a community group, were baptized (for a second time each), became covenant members, and began serving on and then leading a First Impressions team. Throughout all of this, our faith as individuals and as a couple has grown in ways that we couldn’t have imagined before coming to Mercy Hill. We are beyond grateful for what God has done and continues to do in our lives and for the role that our Mercy Hill family has played in it. We are thrilled to be taking this next step in service and ministry—and eager to take it with our group, whoever you are…
